A replacement cover and a complete power point can look similar in a product photograph. Before ordering, check the exact product type, range and part number so the item in your cart is the part you need.
Start with what is included
Skin or cover
A decorative face for a compatible fitting. A skin-only listing does not supply a complete wired switch or power point. For example, Clipsal identifies 3025C as an Iconic double power point skin.
Grid plate
The mounting component for the specified range. Read the listing to see whether a skin or mechanisms are supplied; Clipsal lists grid-only and grid-and-skin products separately.
Mechanism
An individual functional component, such as a switch mechanism. Match the exact mechanism to the manufacturer's compatible grid and application.
Assembled fitting
A product listed as an assembled switch or outlet. Check the complete contents and specifications; accessories shown in photographs are not necessarily included.
Match the range before the colour
Clipsal has several distinct ranges, including Iconic, Classic C2000 and 2000 Series. Start with the range name and complete part number. Similar appearance, colour or dimensions alone do not establish that two components will fit together.

A checklist for your order
- Part number: use the complete manufacturer code, including its suffix. An old invoice, packaging or your electrician's parts list can help identify it.
- Product type: confirm whether you need an assembled fitting, skin, grid plate or separate mechanism.
- Layout: compare the number of switches or outlets, vertical or horizontal orientation, and any extra-switch opening.
- Colour and finish: match the named finish and code in the listing; screen colours are only a visual guide.
- Installation requirements: have your electrician confirm electrical ratings, location suitability and any mounting or compatibility requirements.
- Quantity: check whether the price is for one component or a pack, then review the stock information for the item you need.
Why the full code matters
Clipsal lists 3025C as a horizontal double power point skin and 3025VC as a vertical version. That extra letter changes the layout. Use the same care with suffixes, extra-switch versions and the distinction between a component and a complete fitting.
Find the matching range
Contact Sparky Stock with its model code, the product link and a description of what you need. Do not remove or dismantle electrical fittings to identify a part; ask a licensed electrician where access is required.
