The Alpha PLD-1 is a replacement high speed steel pilot drill for compatible holesaw arbors. It forms the centre guide hole that helps locate the holesaw as cutting begins.
With a 6.35 mm diameter and 89 mm overall length, it suits the Alpha ARB-1 arbor used with 14–30 mm holesaws. It is suitable for work in steel, wood and plastics with the appropriate holesaw and drilling setup.
